From Lincoln, to Brighton to London, the jazz loving punk witch took inspiration from Beck, . At first with the name L.A. Mattisse, people didn’t know whether she was a SoundCloud rapper or a drag queen. So she became both. Spreading love with whimsical rap and fusing a range of genres. This rare specimen can be found wondering the streets of Camden.
JASPER THE MANDOLIN MISTREL
Jasper The Mandolin Minstrel (AKA Jasper Squire) has a calling – he is compelled to sing iconic songs and produce beautiful sounds on his mandolin. Sometimes he performs solo, sometimes he asks some friends to join him in his quest.
Jasper, in his capacity as minstrel, is also heavily involved with theatre and has been Musical Director to various productions. His most recent endeavour was to provide a live soundtrack to a play and thus performed on stage at Welwyn and Cambridge Drama Festivals.
Jasper also currently gigs with the World Music Big Band where he plays electric guitar.
Nohland is an influential Music Artist from the Pacific Coast in Panamá. His journey as Nohland debuted in his teenage years, when he promised a friend to dedicate his life to create music. His sound is heavily inspired by the Alternative and Indie-Pop music scene. Nohland’s journey has taken him far away from his home-town all the way to London, United Kingdom. His journey is narrated through lyrics and melodies that he has created in order to convey all sorts of emotion with his listeners.
Andy Hobson, the talent behind Coraland, is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Gloucestershire. Discovering his drumming talent at 10, he was an active participant in local gigs and eventually signed with Parlophone Records in his twenties. Despite ups and downs in the music industry, his resilience led him to diverse experiences, including TV appearances, child psychotherapy, and meditation.
This exploration resulted in ambient compositions that touched millions and revealed his latent songwriting abilities. Now performing as Coraland, his music blends pop and rock with emotive storytelling inspired by his life experiences.
Sicilian-born, London-based, rising popstar MARTA. harnesses all the power and sass those capital letters and full stop imply. Her witty, widescreen bangers (of both bad girl and sad girl varieties) are wreathed in jazzy flourishes, flecked with punchlines, crafted and sung with the finesse only 7 years of jazz harmony training can bring. For fans of Sabrina Carpenter, Lana Del Rey, and laughing at yourself through heartache.
